Back of the seat ready for carving

Following a request from Patty Klaassen we have agreed to make a park bench in honour of the late Shelley Kelly. Gavin managed to get some great planks for this from Slab Happy (Bob Neal) and we’re getting this ready now for their Art Exhibition in October. Well known woodcarver (Joe Stanton) from Apple Tree Creek came over on 3rd August and instructed us in woodcarving a floral design on the back rest.
